The anticorrosive coating on the surface of steel lined plastic tank is mainly epoxy asphalt anticorrosive coating, which will appear delamination and cracking under the action of external environment. The main reason for the cracking of the paint film on the surface of steel lined plastic storage tank is the improper shrinkage of the paint film during drying and curing. The main reasons for the paint layer falling off and cracking of steel lined plastic storage tank are as follows:
1. The paint film on the surface of steel lined plastic storage tank is too thick during spraying. Under normal circumstances, if the thickness of epoxy asphalt is more than 120 μ m, there will be cracking basically;
Second, the surface roughness of the tank is too low, especially on the weld bead, the roughness is often uneven;
Third, the relative humidity is too high, and the ventilation effect is relatively poor, so the surface will cure quickly, so the phenomenon of paint film cracking will also occur.
The above is the main cause of paint cracking on the surface of steel lined plastic storage tank. Only when we know the reason, can we better prevent the steel lined plastic tank.
